STAALMEESTER WELCOMES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Jacques Pretorius was appointed Managing Director of Staalmeester with effect from 1 September 2021. He takes over the role from Martin Coetzee, who resigned at the end of August 2021.
Jacques grew up in Wesselsbron and matriculated at the Technical High School in Sasolburg. He began his career at the then Central West Co-operative in Parys, where he qualified as a John Deere Technician. He joined the family business in the automotive industry in 2003 and after three years as workshop foreman and assistant manager, he became part of the Senwes Equipment team. Here he filled various positions, including that of a John Deere technician, workshop manager, technical advisor and service manager.
Jacques' experience and in-depth knowledge of the sector and the agri-business environment makes him the ideal person to lead the Staalmeester team.
